The desktop app

BO Coach reads the game's screen on your PC. It never sends screenshots. Recordings and the record of each game are saved on your PC, in %LOCALAPPDATA%\BoCoach. The app connects to this website to download your build orders and, unless you turn it off, to share your games.

Sharing your games

The "Compartir mis partidas" (share my games) option comes turned on, and you can turn it off in the app window or in First steps. While it is on, when each game of one minute or longer ends, the app uploads a record with:

Your name, other players' names, the chat (anything in the log not recognized as a game message is blanked before saving) and screenshots are never sent. The record isn't tied to your website account: it is identified by a random number for that app installation. It is stored in Supabase, in a non-public location, and used only to find what the coach reads or advises wrongly.

The website

You don't need an account to browse the library and try build orders, and nothing about you is stored.

If you sign in with Discord or Google, we store:

They aren't used for advertising, sold or shared with anyone. They're stored in Supabase (the database) and the site runs on Vercel. The cookies the site uses are the session ones, to keep you signed in, and the language one, if you pick a language.

Deleting your data

Records your PC uploaded are deleted with "Borrar lo compartido…" (delete what I shared) in the app window. You can delete each of your build orders from its page, and tokens from My account. To delete your whole account, ask on GitHub and it gets deleted along with everything of yours.
